Privacy Policy

The short version

Girls Weekend is built to help friend groups plan trips together. We collect only what we need to run the service, we never sell your personal information, and you can delete your group page and its data at any time.

What we collect

• Group trip information. Names your group enters, trip dates, destination ideas, votes, schedule links, itinerary items, tasks, and expenses.
• Account information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name to identify you as the organizer of a group page.
• Waitlist emails. If you join the waitlist on our homepage, we store your email address to notify you when access is available.
• Technical data. Basic browser and device information needed to keep the site secure and improve performance.

How we use it

We use your information to create and share your group's planning page, calculate expenses, send waitlist updates, and keep the service running. We do not use your data to train AI models, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who can see your group page

Anyone with your group's unique link can view and vote on the page. Only the organizer — the person who signed in to create or claim the page — can edit details, delete the page, or clear test responses.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember your display name on a group page. You can clear these through your browser settings at any time.

Third-party services

We use secure backend and authentication providers to store data and handle Google sign-in. These providers process data only on our behalf and under strict confidentiality.

Deleting your data

Organizers can delete a group page from the Organizer tools tab. This removes the page, all responses, itinerary, expenses, and schedule links. If you need help removing something else, email us at karen@girlsweekend.net and kate@girlsweekend.net.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of the page.
